Company Overview
Repertoire Immune Medicines is a biotechnology company working to unlock and direct the remarkable power of the human immune system to treat cancer, autoimmune disease and infectious disease. The company was founded by Flagship Pioneering on the belief that understanding the repertoire of T cell receptor (TCR)-antigen immune synapses that maintain health and drive disease represents one of the greatest opportunities for innovation in medical science. Repertoire scientists created and developed the DECODETM platform, which allows in-depth characterization of TCR-antigen pairs, and the ability to deploy this information in the form of novel targeted immune medicines to fundamentally reprogram the immune system to kill tumors or induce immune homeostasis.

From its sites in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Zurich, Switzerland, Repertoire’s team is creating a new pipeline of therapeutic immune medicines enabled from its DECODE discovery platform.  Repertoire is currently using its proprietary platform to discover novel epitopes and TCRs from patients with autoimmune diseases such as type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis, creating programmable tolerizing mRNA vaccines to restore immune homeostasis in these indications. In oncology, Repertoire’s decoding of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and the antigens they target is enabling development of TCR bispecific therapies and mRNA cancer vaccines to treat solid tumors.

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled accounting professional to be part of a dynamic Finance Team.  Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will assist with the day-to-day operations and play a key role in completing the month-end financial close process, financial reporting, and internal process improvements.  This individual will serve as a finance business partner to other colleagues, cross-functionally, on accounting and purchase order matters. We are also seeking a colleague to help build and invest in our collaborative culture, coming into the office minimally 2 to 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the timely completion of the month-end close through the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-over-period account fluctuation analysis.
  • Responsible for the cash reconciliation process.
  • Maintain the fixed asset, leases, and other current assets schedules.
  • Review and approve all employee expense reports to ensure compliance with Company policies.
  • Assist in the completion of the monthly PO accrual process and collaboration with external vendors and internal business stakeholders, including FP&A.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve any vendor or billing issues.
  • Support the preparation for the financial statement audits and tax compliance reporting.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial surveys and other ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Support implementation of internal controls, including identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with the Controller to develop policies and assist with documentation for key accounting, reporting, and other projects, as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with a minimum of 3-5 years in corporate and/or public accounting.
  • Relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including international experience, preferred.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process; experience with consolidations of multiple subsidiaries, including international is a plus.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Experience with a publicly traded company is a plus.
  • Experience with internal control documentation and testing a plus.
  • Strong communication, attention-to-detail, and ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and deliver on responsibilities within a highly collaborative environment.

Repertoire is committed towards social responsibility and developing an inclusive culture. Much as the power of the immune system lies in the diversity of T and B cells, our work requires the creativity and ingenuity of a diverse workforce.  We believe in actively pursuing equity in all facets of the work experience at Repertoire.  We will continue to educate ourselves about the inequities and barriers present in our society and take action as a company where we can make a difference.
Repertoire is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
